You may have spent years feeling different, misunderstood, overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying to keep up with expectations that were never designed with you in mind.
Whether you are autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, questioning, self-identified, newly diagnosed, or simply trying to better understand how your brain works, therapy can provide a space to explore your experiences without judgement or pressure to be someone you are not.
We provide affirming, trauma-informed therapy for neurodivergent children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across Ontario.
Many neurodivergent people grow up receiving messages that they are too sensitive, too emotional, too intense, too distracted, too quiet, too much, or not enough.
Over time, these experiences can contribute to shame, self-doubt, anxiety, burnout, and a sense of constantly trying to fit into environments that were not designed with their needs in mind.
Neurodivergent-affirming therapy begins from a different perspective.
Rather than viewing neurodivergence as something that needs to be fixed, we focus on understanding your strengths, needs, communication style, sensory experiences, and the environments where you thrive. Our goal is to help you build a life that works for you, not to make you appear more neurotypical.
Some people come to therapy with a diagnosis. Others are beginning to wonder whether ADHD, autism, or another form of neurodivergence might explain experiences they have carried for years.
Therapy can provide space to explore:
Many neurodivergent individuals spend years trying to adapt themselves to environments that are not designed for them.
Therapy can help you:
We do not believe neurodivergence is something that needs to be cured, extinguished, or hidden.
Our approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent-affirming. We strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to identify what works best for them.
We do not focus on making people appear more neurotypical. Instead, we focus on helping clients better understand themselves, reduce distress, strengthen relationships, and build lives that align with their values and needs. Similar principles are reflected across neurodiversity-affirming approaches that prioritise self-understanding, autonomy, and reducing shame rather than normalisation.
We recognise that many neurodivergent individuals have also experienced trauma, bullying, discrimination, social exclusion, or identity-related stress. Therapy takes these experiences into account.

Services may be provided virtually, in person, or through a combination of both formats depending on scheduling and clinical needs.

Many neurodivergent people spend years monitoring their behaviour, suppressing needs, or trying to appear "normal."
That can be exhausting.
Therapy can provide a space where you do not need to perform, explain, or justify your experiences. You do not need to make eye contact. You do not need to communicate in a particular way. You do not need to fit someone else's idea of how you should think, feel, or behave.
You are welcome exactly as you are.

Some individuals seek therapy because they are beginning to question whether ADHD, autism, or another form of neurodivergence may be part of their experience.
If you are looking for diagnostic clarification, we also provide comprehensive psychological assessments for ADHD and autism.

We provide neurodivergent-affirming therapy for:
We welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and are committed to providing inclusive, affirming care.
You deserve support that works with your brain, not against it.
Whether you are newly exploring neurodivergence or have understood yourself this way for years, we are here to help.
