We provide comprehensive psychological assessments in Thunder Bay, with a focus on ADHD, autism, personality assessment, anxiety, and diagnostic clarity.
Many people who reach out to us have spent years trying to understand why certain things feel harder than expected, whether that’s focus, organization, social interactions, or managing daily life.
If you’ve been trying to make sense of your experiences and haven’t found clear answers yet, you’re in the right place.
All assessments are conducted by or under the supervision of a registered psychologist.

Our goal is to help you better understand what’s going on and to offer clear, practical guidance about next steps.
At this time, Affirming Mental Health Services offers psychological assessment services only and does not provide therapy or crisis services. When assessment is not the right fit, we are happy to help connect you with appropriate referral options whenever possible.
As the practice grows, we plan to expand into therapy services aligned with our affirming and evidence based approach. Updates will be shared as additional services become available.
If you have questions about whether an assessment may be helpful, we invite you to reach out through our contact form.
